A hard request!
I have been looking for this Burt Reynolds movie since owning movies became reasonable, when I was a kid the only way to own a movie was buying a expensive reel to reel projector & super 8 films. I have kept my eye's out for this unique movie for decades & after finding some rare gems in Deep 13's store I saw you could request movies & thought this just might be one of the hardest to find so I gave it a try & they came through!!! " Skullduggery" is decades ahead of its time in some ways, reflects the time it was made in some ways & is relevant today in many ways. With the reports of the small orange colored Wild man of the Jungles coming out of Papua New Guinea & surrounding area's called the Orang Pen Dek this breaths a new life into this rare film. Skullduggery is also good in that it documents some historical phenomena as well, like " Cargo Cults" & the relevance of Phosphorous & the color T.V. as it relates to the film industry. After over 50% of Americans owned colored T.V.'s Hollywood started filming mostly in color! B/W was reserved for artistic use, tight budgets & " Film Noir". " Skullduggery" starts off as a beautifully filmed jungle action adventure & suddenly takes a turn into a very serious court room drama dealing with what it means to be " Human". This is a must have for Burt Reynolds fans or fans of Cryptozoology! You will be hard pressed to see anything quite like this rare Gem...& will probably never see it unless you get it from Deep 13 movie's!!!
